Required technologies
WhichCookie uses required technologies to operate the dashboard, keep sessions secure, remember language or interface choices, store consent evidence, and prevent unauthorized event submissions.
Consent records
When a visitor makes a choice on a customer website, WhichCookie can store a signed server-side record containing selected purposes, vendor choices, jurisdiction data, policy version, Global Vendor List version, generated privacy strings, and hashed technical identifiers. These records are used as evidence of the visitor decision.
Advertising and analytics vendors
Customer sites can configure advertising, analytics, social, preference, and vendor-specific scripts. Consent-controlled scripts stay inactive until a visitor decision allows their category or vendor. IAB vendor disclosures are loaded from the cached Global Vendor List when configured and available.
TCF, GPP, and US privacy strings
WhichCookie can expose consent parameters such as gdpr, gdpr_consent, gpp, gpp_sid, and us_privacy. A non-empty IAB TCF consent string requires a real CMP ID and a cached IAB Global Vendor List before it should be used as a production registered-CMP signal.
